Practice incident decisions before the real day
Trust and privacy notes
Response Rehearsal is designed as a static, browser-based planning tool. It does not require an account, does not ask for uploads, and does not need a backend server or database to generate exercise packets.
Public domain
The canonical public site is https://responserehearsal.com/. The www host is also reachable, but the apex domain is the preferred public address.
What stays in your browser
The settings you choose, generated packet text, slide views, print views, copied output, and downloaded Markdown files are created locally in the browser. The tool is built around generic exercise patterns rather than real organizational incident data.
What not to enter
Do not enter confidential incident details, real credentials, sensitive infrastructure information, personal information, regulated data, or details that would create security risk if shared. Use fictionalized or generic details when practicing.
How to use the output
Generated exercises are preparation aids, not legal, compliance, or incident-response advice. Review packet content before sharing it with participants, adapt it to your organization, and keep final exercise records according to your own policies.
Source and safety posture
The prototype uses original simplified scenario patterns informed by public incident-response exercise concepts. Reference documents should remain research inputs, not copied site content. The generator should stay focused on defensive readiness and tabletop discussion rather than operational attack guidance.
