Practice incident decisions before the real day

About this tool

Response Rehearsal is a static web prototype for creating incident response tabletop exercise materials. It helps facilitators assemble defensive practice scenarios, timed injects, participant handouts, slide-style prompts, worksheets, and after-action discussion material.

Public domain

The canonical public site is https://responserehearsal.com/. The www host is also reachable, but the apex domain is the preferred public address.

Who it is for

The tool is intended for facilitators, small security teams, IT leaders, and operations staff who need a practical starting point for tabletop exercise planning. It is not a replacement for professional judgment, legal review, regulatory guidance, or a real incident response plan.

How it works

The generator runs in the browser from static HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It does not require accounts, uploads, a database, or a backend service. Exercise content is generated from generic scenario patterns and the settings selected on the page.

Use boundaries

Review all generated material before using it with participants. Adapt the output to your organization, keep sensitive details out of the tool, and treat generated exercises as planning aids rather than authoritative security, compliance, legal, or incident-response advice.
